We homeschool and bought this for my beginner cooks. It was perfect, easy directions to work on reading while learning to follow a recipe with pre measured ingredients! Get it!

I love these for parent bonding and learning life skills. This was very easy to follow and my kids had fun making it. The hat and apron are great quality; better than some we have received in other kits. The hat is almost to small for my 4 and 5 year old, but the apron has plenty of room to grow. The instructions were very easy to follow and if my kids were older, it would be a great way for them to learn how to follow directions and do it all on their own. The cake is a very sweet cake, but tastes great. The icing is good, but very rich for my personal taste, but everyone else loved it.The only things I didn't like is:1) where it says what you will need it lists 1/2 C. butter, but really you need 1 1/2 cups per the instructions.2) It calls for a three tiered 4-6" cake, but that is not a standard size most people have in their house. We made a two tiered 8" cake. I'm not sure if this is why, but we ended up only needing half of the chocolate for the topping. Had I known this, I wouldn't have melted all of it and I could have saved half for another day.Overall: The instructions were very easy to follow and the cake tasted and looked great. It did come with a discount for a monthly subscription they offer. I do plan to look into it, as I mentioned, I love the bonding you can create with these types of things and the kids learn life skills.

This is a really fun way to celebrate a special day for a little one and their friends. This is a smart easy to follow kit that has almost everything we need to bake it, which saves time and money. Thankful I had several size baking dishes so they could make what kit shows. The fun (and mess) were worth it. Very smartly packed, love the follow along photos included, and the taste was rather finger licking good.

Just happens my daughters birthday was last week and we made this for her special day this week! So fun and gets kids evolved!
