I think this is a good product, comfy, good quality but the material is a lot thinner than I expected. Nothing wrong with it. I’d say if you compare a cotton sports sock with a social sock to wear with smart shoes, this would be the latter. I work with boots and so I would prefer it to be thicker for warmth in winter. just a personal preference but is a good product nonetheless.

The Danish Endurance Merino wool ¾ crew black dress socks (thinner 2022 version) in my sample are the 9-12 size, and have uniform thinness for comfort and breathing.The toe seam is hard, relatively bulky, and very noticeable across the top of the toes with some shoes, specifically my smartest shoes! No matter, I have better, seamless socks for those.The styling is a bit strange because (before the inevitable shrinkage in the first wash) while the sole may be a solid size 9-12, the elasticated top around the ankle is more like a size 6-8. So (as with almost all Az supplied socks) I’ve modified them with a trusty old  QuickUnpic  to snip the binding holding the top band fold-over.Having spread the lower-calf pinch, the foot of the (washed) 9-12 sock is snug and comfortable on size 8-9 feet, being quite soft apart from the toe seam. They make good summer socks, but would be cool in winter.No washing instructions were supplied with these socks, nor on the Amazon page, and in our house they have to go in with all the others, or else it’s the bin. So we always buy socks from Az a size or two too big, knowing from past experience they always shrink in the first wash.This two minute snip halves the contact pressure on the skin, gives a bit more calf height to the sock and allows my normal shaped feet and ankles to have more normal circulation. I should not have to do this surgery. Over many previous decades my socks were always perfect; I still have some of those and they still fit.Why are most recent socks so uncomfortable?

Price wise I think they're too expensive for what they are. I was expecting them to be well fitting on the sock top, but I found them tight and uncomfortable. Personally they are the type of sock that you buy cheap at a 6-11 that are I'll fitting.

These are the only socks I have been able to wear with some old school Vans shoes that don't cause the rubber to squeak when a little sweaty. Even if your feet sweat out on a hot day the sock makes your feet feel dry and keeps them odour free,(in conjunction with good hygiene of course) They also dry very quickly. I have worn them approx 6 times and laundered them each time. They have started to bobble quite a lot already so I am a little dubious about how long these are going to last. I will update over time with the durability verdict.
