Great Replacement
I love this. I already had a quick defrost tray but it was a lot smaller. This is a good size for a family of four. The other benefits are just a happy extra for me but are very useful

Not properly used it yet but did the ice cube test and this seems amazing, can't wait to try something a lot bigger

Terrific...!
These boards are terrific and do exactly what it says they will do.The defrosting side works brilliantly well providing you remove all the food packaging first before laying the food directly on the black side of the board while the grey side is a superb and very sturdy chopping board.It grips the surface well so doesn't move about when chopping fruit & vegetables, washes easily and has the ingenious extras of a very small knife sharpener embedded in it and a small square grater for foods such as garlic or chocolate,etc.I've been so impressed by this item that I bought three more boards to give to my sister and friends and will probably be buying some more for upcoming birthday presents.I highly recommend it.

Defrosts like it says it does.
Its a good hoard for defrosting on although the water has no where to go so just rolls of the board. Its a chopping board too. That's great garlic rub and k ife Sharpener. Not so great. But overall I wanted it for defrosting and it does exactly that.

It works but mixed feelings.
Got the board in good time as promised. Tested it out with 2 x frozen pork chops, one on the quick defrost board and the other on a bamboo copping board. The JML Board defrosted the cop quicker. Later, I put 2 x containers which had bolognese inside them, both totally frozen, and placed them both on the JML board and they defrosted in time to cook for tea. It does work, I wouldn't call it a miracle device but it's definitely quicker than the normal board.The reason I included the picture is because I bought this product for £19.99, but when it arrived, its packaging indicated that it was being sold at only £9.99, I feel rather cheated.
