Worth the Extra Bucks!
This item is exactly as pictured and arrived within a few days though it is not Prime eligible. The "instructions" is really an assembly graphic that is located in the packing slip pouch, not in the box itself. I happened to find it after I put the rack together. This is mentioned because so many have complained that it is missing. Quotation marks are bookending "instructions" because I realize that some people are visual and are probably complaining about the lack of step-by-step instructions with graphics to match. A YouTube video would be with the link printed on the "instructions" would be a nice touch. The rack is easy to assemble. The only issue I had was that bar with the adjusting pin had to be forced into the bar with the holes. If the unit starts to rust in the hot & humid climate I live in, the scratches caused by this action with be the cause. It is certainly the cause for the 4 star rating instead of 5 stars. BTW, it comes with 2 regular wheels and 2 wheels with brakes. These are the dimensions for those who love numbers. ** 18"~45.72 cm from the inside back wheel bar to the inside front wheel bar ** 9 5/8"~24.45 cm from the lower crossbar to the floor ** 46 7/8"~119.06 cm from left wheels to left wheel and from left inner rack to right inner rack ** 5 7/16~31.81 cm for the left/right extension bar I estimate that 6 standard shoe boxes stacked 2 high can fit under the lower crossbar.DIYers can craft an inexpensive dolly that rolls out from under the crossbar for easy cleaning. When not being used to hang garments, I can see it being used as a room divider by either simply hanging material from the upper bar or by dividing the open space with pipes, tension wires/connectors, etc. and making use of the sections by inserting a corkboard, artwork, what ever floats your boat. The garment rack can be personalized just like your closet. Use hanging shoe & sweater storage on top and place storage cubes/boxes underneath. If you love the industrial look the possibilities are endless. If you decide to go with the cheaper racks with a plastic base, you will be sorry. The one I purchased barely lasted 1 year. I doubt if the all the garments on it totaled 100 lbs. yet the began to warp and bend under the weight. In the end, the unit was leaning so much to one side that I feared that it would tip over. Spend the extra dollars and know that it's worth it for the peace of mind.

OMG...a place to finally hang clothes!
I wasn't skeptical in ordering this because I knew there had to be more than a handful of non paid and honest reviews if that is still the case on amazon and other sites.Shipping + Delivery - The box that the item came in looked like it had been attacked by something otherworldly but alas it may have just been the UPS facility or the merchant. Really hard to tell but nothing was damaged and this stuff seems to be made of some high grade steel. No I have not heated it to near melting to test that. There was no tracking number provided during the order or after but I believe the item took around 7-9 days to reach me if memory serves correct.I was afraid because of an opening in the cardboard box that something may have fallen out(the box did look like it was attacked) but this genius merchant/company(no I'm not being sarcastic)was intuitive or simply smart enough to make sure the item came with the screws securely fastened in place so you're actually taking them out to put the pieces in place and then assemble the garment rack.Assembly - A kid around 8 or 9 could probably put this together especially if they were enticed with cookies or something that just looked sweet. That being said it shouldn't be a challenge for most if any adults and comes with some basic instructions. A 1 pager to be exact. It took less than 7-13 minutes to assembly it and the extra time might have been me staring at it for awhile asking if that's it.Build - seems fairly strong and says it's rated up to 250lbs but I wasn't about to start swinging around on this thing to test that out. If you have a baby gorilla at home then please, have at it. The upper of the rack once installed seems a bit shaky but it's definitely not going anywhere unless someone or something, like a baby gorilla is swinging around on it persistently. Bad Monkey!Pros -Pretty affordable for it's asking price. That's an opinion based on my financial situation and that of 64.8% of the nation in 2013.Seems really sturdy and is rated up to 250lbs(I was kidding above). Do not have your monkey or kid swing on this to test it!So easy to assemble a well trained monkey or candy seeking kid could put it together.Cons -I can't find any yet but I'll report back and update this if I do.

Assembly was extremely frustrating, but the product is great
Although I am happy with the item now, I was not very happy with it when it arrived. I knew I would have to assemble it (and also that I'm not a particularly handy person), but it took me several tries to get this right. I was cursing the company for not including the appropriate Allen wrenches (it wasn't until I was done assembling the product and was taking the box apart that I found them taped to the bottom), necessitating a trip to the hardware store. It would have been nice for them to include a picture or some instructions -- or maybe even a list of things included in the box??? -- but there was nothing but the metal poles. As such, I ended up putting the product together backwards and had to start all over again. Also, I don't know if this was just a quirk with the product I received, but the pieces of the top pole that are meant to fit into the vertical poles were just a hair too wide. I had to take a hammer to it in order for them to go in at all -- and even then I only managed to get them in half-way. It still works in the way it is supposed to, but it looks a little strange, since the poles are not flush together. I'm also not sure if I will ever be able to disassemble the product. However, it is a good product, and I would suggest it to people who don't mind a bit of frustration. It is very sturdy and strong, and it also looks nice.
