Prints well, has some odor still, but much less than the standard stuff
I still detect odor, and I still get a reaction when I inhale or when it comes in contact with my skin. Maybe I'm just more sensitive to this kind of stuff than most though. It definitely is less of a reaction for me though. I would still recommend proper ventilation, a mask with a charcoal filter, and gloves. I found that 3 second cure time caused the "cones of calibration v3" to fail. I had to bump it up to between 3.3 and 3.7 seconds at 25 degrees C to get a passing result. That's just to say you will need to bump up cure time slightly from what you're used to if you're switching from a standard resin. I left initial layers at 30 seconds without issue there.

Good results
EDIT: elegoo customer support contacted me and it turns out it must have been a bad batch of resin. They shipped me a new bottle. I used rhe same settings as before for a test print and BAM... the test was a success. I then set it to print a few models and rhey came out great.. thank you elegoo!! i tried different settings for DAYS. i got 1 solid print, but it was in a group of 4. once i swapped to a photopolymer resin all the prints came out great.

Low smell but a bit brittle
I’ve pulled ~50 D&D miniatures made with this stuff at this point, and I have to say I love it. The fact that it is plant based is the main selling point for me as it’s a bit kinder to the environment, but the low smell factor is what kept me coming back. Resin printing stinks and I used to have to abandon the room next door to my printer when it was going, but after switching to this resin I barely smell anything standing right outside the door. The only cons are that it requires a bit more exposure time than the standard resin, and it is a bit brittle once it goes through final cure. This can be solved by mixing a bit of standard resin in, but I rarely do that.

First resin
This is my first time printing in resin and I wanted to avoid petrochemicals as I’m not satisfied with my ventilation setup yet. So I cannot compare it to other resins. Using the default Chitubox settings for my Saturn 2 I get extremely crisp prints. That is: WHEN they don’t fail. I would say I have about a 1/3 failure rate to some degree, particularly with larger prints. Fiddling with settings has lead me back to the defaults with just a higher base time (35s) and possibly a little bump to regular layer time (3s?). The main thing I cannot seem to figure out is layers not adhering mid-print on easy areas - possibly floaters but I haven’t found any. Once you get some successful prints, cleanup is as expected, just shake around in some alcohol. Prints are VERY prone to scratching, even just a fingernail or rubbing against one another, so I’m going to look into polishing with mineral oil or coating with a primer. Parts have withstood drops fine. Slight flexibility. Supports wipe right off. Build plate adhesion is fantastic - a little TOO strong sometimes (once you raise the base time a bit to stop fails). I don’t have anything to compare the odor to but it is noticeable. Printing all day in my office with the lid and filter on was definitely still bad. But when it’s turned off or running in the closet there is zero odor whatsoever. I’ll add a little extraction fan hooked up the the lid and I’m confident I’ll never have to thing about fumes again. All-in-all I understand it’s a natural product so there will be variation to some degree. I really want to avoid the chem stuff but I may have to switch if I don’t get so many fails.

Absolutely recommend for printing minis!
Just got a Mars 5 and have been testing different resins for printing high-detail minis, and I can safely say this has worked best. Low odor, high viscosity, and tough as a brick for solid figurines. Will definitely buy again!

Have never had a problem.
I print several times a week, and I always use this resin on my Saturn 4 Ultra. I've never had a problem with the resin. The odor is far less than the standard resin and the detail is very good.

I’ve been using the ELEGOO ABS-Like Plant-Based 3D Printer Resin for several months now, and it’s been a game-changer for my 3D printing projects. The low odor is a significant improvement over traditional resins, making the printing environment much more comfortable. The resin’s high precision and low shrinkage rate have resulted in detailed and accurate prints, enhancing the quality of my models. Additionally, its compatibility with 405nm wavelength printers ensures versatility across various 3D printing setups.
