This auger is a must have for installing grass plugs!!!
I installed 72 St Augustine grass plugs today and this tool made the job much easier. It plugs right into any drill. The hole it makes was just the right size to fit the plug which was about 3 inches. I ran into no issues with the auger breaking through the soil since it was softened up from rain the night before. 5 starts from me since it saved me time and effort, This is a must have tool for any yard/garden project.

Made planting bulbs supper easy
This garden auger drill bit made planting my bulbs a quick and easy job. Built very well and stood up to the task of drilling many holes. I'm sure I'll be using this drill for many spring plantings in the future.

heavy. well made. threw away garden shovel
heavy. where has this been all my life? this makes planting flower beds a breeze. i have loamy sandy soil. it works like a dream in my soil. took to town to help parents in their garden harder black dirt hang on to drill more firmly. but still made job far easier that using garden shovel.
