Look at the higher end flatware, you will see the ratio at 18/8 or better. 18/8 was the common standard years ago. **Q: Are these teaspoons or tablespoons?** A: These are the larger of the spoons from the 5 piece place set, not teaspoons. They are 6 3/4" long. **Q: Are these knives sharp?** A: Yes, they're sharp enough to cut meat very well.
