Works with existing (oldish) plastic Hozelock hose ends without leaking, tho will replace these too with brass.

Brass garden splitter
Tap appears to be sturdy, is compact, easy to fit to pipe. The two on/off levers a little stiff to move, howeverI expect them to ease with use over time.
