The concept of this product is good, but the execution is extremely poor.We bought this as a Christmas present for our children. It is near impossible for a child to turn the pages without them tearing at the top. We have used it for only a week, carefully turning one page a day and already a few pages are torn at the top. Subsequent pages then become even harder to turn as the damaged pages become stuck on the spiral binding.The pages should be made of more durable, better quality paper so they are not so delicate and prone to damage. This product is designed for children, and in our experience, even an adult would struggle to use it as designed without it falling apart within a short period of time.In our opinion this product is not fit for the purpose it was designed, and sadly it will soon become unusable. For the price we paid, we have expected better quality and are very disappointed. I would not recommend it to other parents.

Lovely idea and great presentation children can relate to. However I have a just turned 10 year old and we're yet to find a word she wouldn't be familiar with. I would say this is for children up to 8, not older which makes it for us an unnecessary purchase.

We have used this each morning this week and the children, aged 12 and 9 are not screaming at me about it....so take that as a win! Hopefully we will see results in their writing

I love this! Brought this for my daughter who constantly asks what words mean (in upper KS2). This book has been perfect. We look at it every tea time and talk about the word and the meaning and how often that word is used in books.Recommended this to a friend who also purchased and they have been enjoying it too.

I was really undecided about buying this but am so glad I did, lovely quality and my 9 and 11 year olds have really engaged with it.Yes my older child knows the words but it’s a nice refresher. My 9 year old knows some of them but he wouldn’t have thought to use them in his writing before and this flip chart generates some great discussion between us all about how to use the words eg. Incessant

I love this, my kids enjoy reading all about the weekly word or more, definitely worth the money and well presented.

Love this flip book. My class love learning a new word every morning, they are all very interesting, with very visual cartoon pictures to accompany them. My class often ask what percentage of stories is such and such a word used in. I love using it and definitely recommend it for use in the classroom!
