AG Hair Texture Cleansing Cream Foam-Free Hair Wash, 12 Fl Oz

I don't know if this would work as well for everyone. For my fine, sometimes oily hair, I've begun cleansing with shampoo and conditioner every three days and using this cream on the second day of each cycle. If applied very liberally (don't skimp) it gives me clean feeling hair and natural waves. But I don't advise using it repeatedly without a shampoo in between. It's simply too gentle for really dirty hair, and can start to leave a bit of residue on the scalp. That said, working it into my cycle has been absolutely perfect for me and great for my hair.

I've been using it for about three weeks. It made my hair look and feel really nice. But I started breaking out about two weeks after I started using, on my scalp and along my hairline. I've been really thorough about rinsing it out. I've stopped using it as of a couple of days ago. It's a bummer because it did make my hair look much nicer than using normal shampoo.

I love this cleansing cream, it makes my hair soft and clean. I don't know why others don't enjoy it as much! It's not a leave in conditioner, you scrub it through your hair and wash it out like a shampoo but it does not foam up. Leave my hair soft and clean. Love it!

This product is a godsend. I have dry scalp and thin, fine, lifeless hair. This product is amazing at giving my hair body without weighing it down, and also being gentle on my scalp. Prior to this, I was only able to use Tgel or teatree.

Note - the 4 stars are for the product itself, which I have purchased previously from another seller. The smell is great. I alternate between washing with regular shampoo a couple times a week and this 4 or 5 times a week, otherwise I get a little build up on my roots. I love how it brings out more texture in my somewhat wavy, heavy hair.However, I got this bottle in a simple envelope, and the bottle had been crushed during shipping and was oozing out product. Be forewarned!

Love the smell and it really does bog clean and moisturize your hair. However it takes a lot of product for one wash and it doesn’t lather at all. Would be good for short/thinner hair. Not so much for longer thicker hair.

Horrible! Made my hair even more greasy at scalp and rest of hair dry and frizzy..

It was ok. I have mixed curly hair and I felt it could have moisturized my hair more. I think there are cheaper products that work better.

I’m very satisfied with my results after using ag hair texture cleansing cream. I have fine and thin curly hair and this product made my curls defined, bouncy, soft and conditioned without feeling and looking greasy, weighed down and limp. Not to mention how invigorating the cream felt on my head. I didn’t want to rise it out it felt so good. I definitely recommend this product especially if you’re like me with beautiful curls but not enough hair. It’s hard to find that balance of moisture without making your hair look thinner. Have your cake and eat it too. I hope this helps :)

I was a huge fan of Herbal Essences Naked Cleansing Conditioner. Then, it was discontinued. So many favourites, discontinued. Pantene had a similar product...now cannot find. Have been searching for something similar and I took the plunge. Absolutely love this! I require such a small amount as I find it concentrated, doesn't strip my colour and it is very soothing. I repurchased another which I rarely do as I love it for my fine, wavy blonde hair. Recommend!

Was looking for an alternative for the affordable cleansing conditioners from brands like Herbal Essence and L'Oreal which have all been discontinued lately.This is super disappointing - twice the price and not appropriate for curls. Completely destroys my curls' ability to clump, leaving behind poorly defined frizz, no matter how much gel or finger coiling I add to my routine.Does smell nice and clean well, might work for fine straight hair.

I was looking for an alternative to the Hairstory New Wash as it is so expensive and is an American product. It was so nice to find the AG Hair Wash, it's made in Vancouver so I love that it's a local Canadian company. The actual product is great... nice and light, doesn't weigh down my hair. It works great on my curls, doesn't leave me frizzy or greasy. I highly recommend.

I'm really into this as my my over processed hair does not need a lot of washing. Great for a weekend deep clean and also a mid week freshen up. I don't use shampoo at all now. Also cheaper than other brands. Wish it came in a bigger bottle as I need to use quite a lot to get right into in my roots and scalp.
