This product is inherently dangerous. It is purportedly a power connector for electronic equipment, falling under the guidelines of the IEC/IEEE. It is nothing but the most worthless Chinese trash, and a particularly egregious example of just how far they are willing to go to flout our laws and international standards of product capability/quality, in their contempt of us and their knowledge that we will supinely ignore their defective products, while suing a similar domestic supplier into oblivion. I received my order and opened it to connect the cable wiring. What I found inside was … disturbing. As to the 10A rating; the internal connections are so small and made of such inferior quality conductors that under test, it will not conduct more than 4 amps before overheating sufficiently to melt the plastic and cause a catastrophic short. As to the 250V rating; that is beyond a joke. This product was so bad and so dangerous, I sent one of the connectors I received to the US CPSC and the other to the FTC, along with a formal complaint and request for regulatory action.I believe selling this product in the US, for its purported purpose, is unconscionable. I know Amazon is nothing but a trans-shipment warehouse service, but you folks are Americans (purportedly) and need to, at least, attempt to comply with US product safety regulations.Totally not recommended.

These connectors look good but are engineered horribly! The screws that are supposed to hold the wires but instead push the wires out. They are not very safe.

I ordered one of these in hopes it would be better suited for stranded wire, than the super cheap ones. It turns out that this is the same as the cheap ones. I think the Kennable one is better. It is designed to accept stranded wire.

In the description of the item, quantity of the package was 2. I needed 4, so I ordered a quantity of 2 packages. It was the correct item, however I only received a quantity of 2. The description should be changed to reflect the correct amount.
