Love this punching bag.
This is a great punching bag. On the advice of other reviewers, I bought the stabilizing pad, and the punching bag doesn't move at all. It adjusts height easily. I LOVE PUNCHING IT!

Adhesive felt strips recommended for inside of bag (to make it quiet when striking)
This a great standing punching bag I bought for my son.TIP: there is a slight rattle when striking - where the bag meets the post it sits on (maybe a 3/16" gap).I bought strips of adhesive felt and added it lengthwise to the inside of bag. IT HELPED TREMENDOUSLY!So much more quiet now.

Sturdy but needs a lot of sand
This is a great punching bag as long as you’re not a heavy weight or a professional boxer as the bag will move all over the place. We bought about five bags of playground sand and it only filled about halfway. It makes the bag challenging to move manually but it’s not heavy enough to prevent movement across the room while kicking and punching. Overall it does the job but if you pack a heavy punch you might want to consider a different bag or add a lot of sand!

This was actually Dr. Recommended
After being told to start boxing by my Dr, I reached out to gyms with no call back, on what to start out with. After relaying to my Dietician (who is a retired boxer), she got me a list of items to get- this being one to start out on. I will recommend using all purpose (dry sand). I don't like the idea of sitting water (germaphobe). Play sand is just to wet & makes nothing but a mess even using a funnel. So, just save yourself the aggravation & grab a few 50lb all purpose sand bags to fill Great stress relief, adjustable to be able to get different workouts in & great starter.

Great size for my 8yo son
This was a birthday gift for my son and he was beyond excited to receive it. It does slide across our garages concrete floor from repeated use though. We could have maybe gone up a size for him, but can still use it comfortably. He has a pair of boxing gloves to protect his knuckles. With repeated hits I’m sure it could injure their hands for sure.
