This is a 27" x 23" framed painting on 3/4" stretched canvas. The images of the women's faces was painted first in acrylic paint. Then a variety of acrylic gels with inks were placed down over templates, and placed down smoothly. A variety of tools were run through the smooth gels to make very tactile patters. Puff paints and embossing powders were used to add to the imagery and to create a semblance of ice cream, which the women are all enjoying. Many layers of clear acrylic medium were then laid over the entire painting to form a thick covering the mimics a glass enclosure. The title of this painting is, "Ice Cream World Under Ice". Professional grade paints and inks were used in creating this piece. The canvas is high quality. The frame is white wood. (Refer to alternate photos to see an image of the framed piece.)
