Q: Wondered if anyone has used this paper in collage work with acrylic for "glue"? Will it hold long term?

I've used acrylic ink on yupo as an experiment. That was 2 years ago, and the ink/paint is still holding well without cracking or chipping off, which is good I think, also considering that I still haven't framed it, and it's been sitting in an art bag for that time, and been through a major move. Hope this helps.

Q: Is this the heavy weight version?

Yupo paper comes in translucent and white, from what I have found. I would consider a light weight yupo paper to be under 200 GSM, 200 GSM a medium weight, which I use, and 390 GSM a heavy weight paper. I bought 110 GSM and returned it because it was too light weight for me to work with. I use watercolor and alcohol ink on yupo and prefer the 200 GSM. I hope this helps you.

Q: What kind of fixative would you use for watercolors on Yupo?

I recommend the use of a spray fixative or varnish such as Golden's Archival Spray Varnish. The Golden Archival Spray Varnish will fix the watercolor to the paper as well as provide a UV protective coating.
