Clover Takumi 9-Inch Single Point, Size 8

These needles are great. They are lightweight and have a nice finish. They work well and haven't lost any of their gloss since I've been using them. The length is fine, they have kept their straightness, and are easy to work with. I like this very good needle from Clover.

I love working with Clover bamboo needles. The yarn glides across them smoothly. They are also much quieter than metal needles.

Item arrived on time. Just what I need for my knitting circle and myself.

I recently took up knitting and wooden needles were recommended. These are a good size to start with as they work well with medium/aran yarn. They are very comfortable to hold and smooth, yet provide enough texture so that the yarn doesn’t fall off. I like the Clover brand (I use their crochet hooks) and recommend these knitting needles!

In love with natural ~~ be they wood or bamboo ~~ needles. I quit knitting many years ago because I found metal needles esthetically lacking, and plastic, don’t even ask. Takumi makes the best bamboo needles I’ve found: sharp, even, smooth and pleasant to. Work with. Much less fatigue with large projects. Some knitters may not care for the very smooth surfaces of well crafted wood but except for extremely fine threads/yarns, i’m An all-natural needler now. For folks having issues with extreme slick surfaces of needles, Knit Picks (available thru Amazon or on their direct website) make a ‘four-square needle’ which will help with thin delicate silk yarns, or the like. I’d love to see Clover come out with a similar product in bamboo in the smaller gage needles.

So I’ve used these to knit a scarf and a tote bag! They’re great for beginners and to really get a handle on the yarn. The only thing I’d say is that if you’re trying to do bigger projects you’d need longer needles or the ones with the cord. But these are great for simpler projects. They are light weight also and we’re a good price for the items.
