The fine grind was ideal for easy making decent cup of coffee.

Tastes like fresh coffee and not cheap instant. Love it! But as I have just found I’m pregnant I need a decaf now 😞

unable to get Nescafe blend 37.got this presto brand and have taken a likening to it as a replacement for the bled 37.good aroma and taste.this is the second tin I have got many thanks for a good coffee.

This coffee is totally fine. It doesn't have a big punchy taste; it's fairly smooth and lightly flavoured. It's not very strong, but it's not weedy - it's totally middle of the road. I'm used to drinking things like Nescafe Alta Rica which kind of smacks you round the face - this is more like a smoother Gold Blend and with a more overt focus on sustainability (I don't actually know how sustainable Gold Blend is, but this makes it part of the 'sell' from the get-go).I'm not wowed, but I'm not offended by this either.

There are times when instant coffee is the order of the day, when you need to make several at a time or only have access to a kettle rather than a filter machine or similar. This is a resealable tub that means you don’t have to decant unused coffee into a different container for storage, which is handy. My problem however is that I just didn’t find the coffee to my taste; it is bitter with an aftertaste that just doesn’t do it for me and even contractors have declined a second cup, so it isn’t just me that doesn’t like it.

I love coffee, it's part of my daily routine and I have turned it somewhat into a hobby in the past year after buying a barista-style espresso machine. I like trying fresh coffee beans from different parts of the world and different blends so you could say going back to instant coffee, the bar was set pretty high. But coffee in other forms has a separate use. I would love to bring my espresso machine to work with me but that's unfortunately not an option! so instant coffee has its uses.First of all, the texture is nice and fine. Much finer than the usual supermarket instant coffee and you can tell this is a high quality instant by looking at it. I have my coffee strong with a splash of milk and I found 2 teaspoons is enough for me. For a columbian aribica you would expect some tasting notes of chocolate and berry but this has a different flavour profile altogether. It is more smoky, woody and a nutty taste to me but it is still enjoyable none the less.Lets talk about the price.. £6.99 for 100g or £17.99 for 500g. For an instant coffee that is quite expensive and with a lot of competition on the shelves for less I would say it is on the pricier side. Does it blow the leading brands instant coffee away ? I would say no, but afterall it all comes down to personal prefernce. What is nice to me might taste amazing to you. But overall a good quality instant coffee, enjoyable to drink and looking forward to trying more products from Presto in the future.
