It has no lfe input. would work welll with just 1 rca in the left input as others ?

Yes, you can just run a cable from LFE out to Left in. Since your receiver is already filtering high frequencies from the LFE out, you don't need to do so in the subwoofer, so you might want to turn the crossover knob to its highest setting in the subwoofer.

How tall is it without the legs inserts? Can you use the sub without them as well?

It is 7 inches tall and to get the best effect you must use the legs as there is a downward pointing speaker.

What is the height on the unit including the feet?

The feet are approx. 3 inches but they fasten to an inset, so I would say add an extra 2.5 inches to the height to be safe. Also, I believe the rubber feet could be cut if needed, as the screw in the feet sits closer to the base of the box than the floor. I use my box on it's side, resting on cork board and do not use the feet.

This is a 2009-2010 model. do you think it will do well the job with a denon 2017 reciever and a 5 hifi speakers 2014 models ?

Yes. I have an older Denon AVR 1911 but I don't think a newer Denon would have any problems. I wasn't sure about the CP8 but it sounds great. I have it connected to 25 ft cable that goes underneath the house. Enjoy.
