Kejora Fresh Quince - 6 pcs

The fruit arrived earlier than expected and was in excellent condition. I ordered these because I couldn't find good quince jam. These were perfect and the ham I made was almost as good as my grandmother's. I will definitely order from this vendor again.

I paid extra for shipping for the product (fresh produce) to arrive on Monday A.M. It arrived today Wednesday at lunch. The quince are yellow and have spots. I will be lucky if they last two more days at best. Not to mention the cost for six quince was $49.95 plus extra shipping. This was a surprise present for my husband that was supposed to be here Monday. VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST.

I liked it it was fresh and because there's frost everywhere they didn't come frozen it was smaller than I expected and expensive but my husband likes jams I make my mother in-laws recipe if anyone interested,1kg(2 pounds seeded grated quince)no need to peel since it is so expensive no waste if you use food processor grating disk is easier.+3 cups sugar +1 cup water+couple of piece clove+1 stick cinnamon, put them all in pressure cooker close the lid bring it to boil when steam starts coming out cook 15 minutes let it cool to when pressure goes away put it in jars if you boil the jars and lids longer it lasts close the lid.enjoy.i forgot for the recipe add 1 table spoon lemon juice also

Not good deliver to wrong address got from another street poor quality

So the fruits arrived very quickly and in good shape. I cooked them, as per recommendations from a number of reputable cooking sites, and Wowzers! Great fruit and syrup. The fruit is sweet and very mildly spiced....a cross between apple and pears. Do not eat raw!!! It was woody and mostly sour. Cook the fruit in a simple syrup solution until pink and tender and SAVE the syrup!!! The syrup is great in white wine or sparkling wine. I'm sure it'll add an interesting flavor to my tea. You could also add it to your mulled wine for an interesting flavor compliment. Cook the syrup down a bit and use it on pancakes...... The fruit is delicious and versatile. Use instead of apples for a tart tatin or in muffins with cinnamon. The fruit holds its shape well and is similar to apples or pears. Good luck with your cooking!

The packing was good - each piece of fruit had its own bubble wrap sleeve.. very little bruising occurred.. Quince are very aromatic and these were no exception. I made quince membrillo (purée cooked down to a thickened “paste”) try it with a salty cheese - heaven on earth!!
