Directions are simple to understand. Good pictures to go by. I really don't like the horse or cow patterns, as the body of each animal is in 2 parts, and when seen together, just look strange, even to the kids.

I'm a beginner at crocheting but with this book that's easy to understand illustrated and instructions I was able to make this chicken for my grandaughter. I purchased one for myself and one for my mother

Good patterns so far. The pig and the rat are a little wonky, but brings smiles and silliness. The expressions are key in creating character out of them.Make one eye a line lower the other eye. This is a natural affect in all living creatures. They make crocheted creatures have a ridiculous and funny look.The rat , when using darker colors makes it look even more ratty.Good stuff

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. The farm animals are very cute, and the patterns are clear and easy to follow. That said, I have to admit that I was expecting the small amigurumi dolls I'm rather familiar with making. I was surprised to see that these little guys are closer to a small to mid-sized plushie when they're stitched, but still cute! For anyone else who might be thinking they're amigurumi sized, be prepared! For anyone looking to make some cute plushies, this is definitely for you!

The book is in great condition and it arrived a little late but the seller was good to work with and the patterns are wonderful Book is like new and I am very satisfied with it

This book is fantastic, have owned it forever, use it often, it was time for a new one. The patterns are well written and easy to follow. The price is fantastic also.
