Celtic Animals Charted Designs (Dover Embroidery, Needlepoint)

Lots of varied designs from simple to large complex patterns. Have used these for wall hangings, bookmarks, counted crochet. People liked gifts made w these designs

I wanted to try some needlework designs in the Celtic tradition and this is a good resource.

Exactly as described. Would buy from again.

Just what I had hoped for. Charts are small but easy to enlarge with printers or copiers.

The book arrived early and in great shape. Every thing listed in the ad was correct. I wll use this shipper again.

Very interesting designs if you like this sort of thing. I am not totally thrilled with some of the charts but this is still a good addition to my library.

It is a nice booklet and is easy to understand however there isn't a lot of variety of patterns. Several patterns have the same shapes or similar shapes. It did have what I needed but I was kind of hoping for a wider variety of patterns.

Unfortunately, this is one of those books that is probably better in a hard copy printed book than a digital one. Due to screen resolution of kindle images are not as clear as I would like. Page breaks also split designs and makes it hard to follow the instructions. Overall a disappointing experience. A good resource as far as subject it covers, but not as useful as it could have been due to being in the digital format.

表紙の様な動物文様が沢山あります。 白黒印刷のチャートですが、記号で色を指定してあります。 表紙の例で説明すると ／ ＝ 茶色 〇 ＝ ブルー ◇ ＝ 白 と、色ごとに記号が設定されていて、チャートの中に色を表す記号が記入してあります。 ２ミリ四方ほどの升目に細かく記号標記がありますので、かえって完成像が見にくくなってます。 パッと見でイメージしにくい分、星ひとつ減らしました。

There are some excellent patterns and I love that the author has included the source for them (they are authentic). I also love that the patterns are charted and can be used for embroidery, but also knitting and crochet. I am anxious to try them in different media to compare them.

Je voulais absolument un livre de point de croix aux motifs celtiques. Il y en a malheureusement trop peu. J'ai trouvé celui-ci donc je l’ai acheté directement. Le prix est très correct, j’aime bien les motifs, ce qu'il manque c'est de la couleur et les photos des ouvrages finis.

Ich habe noch keine der Vorlagen in ein Projekt umgesetzt, aber die Darstellung gefällt mir und die Auswahl wurde auch gut getroffen. Man kann keinen wunderschönen Bildband bei diesem Preis verlangen, aber ich habe auch schon teurere Vorlagenhefte für mehr Geld gesehen. Außerdem findet man relativ wenige brauchbare "keltische" Designs zum Sticken, zumindest in Deutschland, ich bin froh, diesen hier gefunden zu haben.
