Saved my scalp and hair.
After using Aveda products since my college days I begin developing serious scalp issues: burning, itching, small bumps all over my scalp and neck. Switched to Prose which worked four about one half year, then the same problems re-emerged, only worse. These high priced products use a cocktail of natural ingredients, but if you are allergic to them, you are out of look. I tried Grandpas on a fluke, stumbled upon it here on Amazon. Started with the Pine Tar Shampoo and Conditioner, they cleared up my scalp. I tried the Buttermilk which has really had a positive effect on my hair. Reduced frizz and smoothed out my hair. I have baby fine straight hair that curled up massively when using Prose, the Buttermilk keeps my fine hair straight and soft. This is a very good product.

Not Sealed, Half a Tube Left
The shampoo arrived unsealed along with a book I had ordered for my uncle for Christmas. The book was nicely shampooed as well as the inside of the envelope it arrived in. Only about half the shampoo was left. I went ahead and tried it out, squeezing and pouring it out from the top. My hair was very smooth afterward! Seems like a good product. I only wish there was more of it in the tube and less of it in my mail!!

Did not receive product I ordered and can not return
Although I love their products I am extremely disappointed that I am unable to return the product Although I ordered the correct product they sent me the wrong one and now I’m stuck with it Will no longer buy thru Amazon Tried contacting the Manufacturer but person was out if office and still not heard I have been ordering for over 2 years and never had a problem

Lather, Rinse, Do Not Repeat
I do not find the buttermilk shampoo it to be good for my dry hair. I'm not too impressed with the job it does with only one lather. As it is sulfate-free, it's normal to repeat, but if I do, my hair will actually squeak. It does smell nice -- a very delicate honey smell. In all, I may finish the bottle, but I won't buy it again.It's been a few weeks. As it turns out, it does work very well as a body wash.
