Q: Can you attach a c-clamp to the desk for a monitor arm set up?

It might be possible to do that as along as you utilized the steel frame for that. I would not suggest just clamping to the desk top panels as they are laminated MDF boards.

Q: I don't know what they are called, but are those rounded pieces on the upper inside part of the legs on both sides? Are they required or removable?

Everything was very required. This desk is not super stable with everything attached.

Q: Can you put casters on this

The casters with a flat metal frame that allows them to be used with another object might work on these tables but I'm not 100% sure. Someone could weld it on the legs if need be.
