Great if you know what you're doing.
I am a novice do-it-yourself(er) and was searching for small, somewhat decorative hinges for a pre-built, free standing, slim-line cabinet. I found these after much researching and searching. They are attractive, a great price, and exactly what I thought I wanted.Unfortunately, I did not understand the various hinge styles as well as I thought, and realized a self-closing hinge was NOT what I wanted. Wow! They have quite a snap back to them! Much too strong for my cabinet. I was so worried about inset / no inset, etc that I must have overlooked that part. It's also listed as no inset, which I *thought* meant both sides of the hinge were level with each other, but I was wrong (I'm pretty sure my understanding of hinges is incorrect, not the product or listing). The non-decorative side is roughly 1/4" lower than the "pretty" side and didn't allow the cabinet door to fit in the opening. I wanted a hinge that would lay flush with the door and the edge of the cabinet _:_ not _:-SO... if you know what you're doing when it comes to hinges then as far as looks, quality, and service I don't think you can go wrong with these. If you aren't completely sure what hinge you need for your project I suggest you go look at some in person before making a purchase.

I don't know why this should be hard to get, but it was
This is an exterior cabinet hinge. It's nothing special. It looks fine, it works, it came with the necessary installation screws. There should be nothing special about it, but none of the hardware stores in my neighborhood had one. They used to, but now I guess everyone is going for internal hinges.

Great replacement
One of the original hinges on my bathroom cabinet door broke after 28 years so I needed to order new ones. These looked almost identical to the ones on my doors so I ordered them. They were super simple to install. The holes matched up perfectly with the holes from the previous hinges and the doors line up perfectly as well. The new hinges look great and feel like they are of good quality. I’m hoping to get 28 years out of these hinges.

Within one week the pin feel out and will not self close.
Can you believe what I did? My old hinges were all failing and it was annoying and horrible looking in my kitchen. I needed to find a no offset semi-concealed replacement. Also, I wanted something close to what I was replacing in look (8 out of 16 total). So I bought 8 of these. Well the holes on the outside (2 of them vertically) lined up but the 3 holes on the flap to attach the door did not. So I put 3 more holes in each door. Then within one week a bottom pin fell out (these have two pins; one on top and one on bottom - I put back before I though of taking a picture). Anyways, I bought some more - why? If they fail and I need replacements again I don't want to ruin my cabinet doors drilling more holes trying to find something that the industry does not standardize on.
