Fluidmaster 218 Toilet Refill Tube and Clip Replacement, For 100,200,200A, 400A and Most Other Valves , Black

I needed one of these for a toilet that wasn't properly filling the bowl with enough water. I saw this product at an incredible price of under $2 and bought 2 of these. It arrived quickly and installation was easy, the clip is a fantastic idea to keep this hose in the correct location AND not interfere with the functioning of the flush mechanism.I haven't used the 2nd one, but it's of similar good quality.a useful product at a reasonable price

Used this as a replacement since the original tube was cut too small from the mfg & kept on popping off. This part fit good and doesn’t pop off. . I just had to cut the length down.

I have Kohler equipment (Gp1083167 Silent Fill Valve Kit and 1069722 3" Toilet Canister Flush Valve Kit). The original hose started becoming hardened at the attachment points, and since it was cut way too flush, this cause the hose to dislodge frequently.This Fluidmaster hose is very similar... not exactly the same, but it is close enough that it works great as a replacement. I was able to use a good pair of scissors to clip the hose down to the right length (with a little bit more slack to give than the original installation) and attach it securely on both ends. Great $2 fix.

This item works to connect the refill valve to the overflow tube on a toilet. This is how water refills the bowl after a flush. The white vinyl portion of the item holds the outlet end of the refill tubing above the top of the overflow tube, which helps prevent backflow in the line or continuous running 9It provides a vacuum break although not the full 1 inch that some building codes require.The black tubing fits on the vinyl clip at the top pointing straight up. This might present a clearance problem for some tanks that have high overflow tubs and low tops or force the tubing into a sharp 90 degree bend when the tank top is in place.. And 45 degree angled fitting would be better, holding the tubing end lower and avoiding the need for a sharp bend.The maker recommends cutting the tube so that it's just long enough to reach between the refill valve and the overflow. I recommend you leave it about 4 or 5 inches longer than that, long enough to make a full loop between the connections. This way you won't have a sharp bend anywhere in the tubing to unnecessarily restrict water flow.
