Hallman PRO-RX-RD Boost Controller, Red

At the beginning i was disappointed with the performance of this controller; I wanted to increase the turbo boost in my 3S GTE engine from 7 psi to much more… but after installing the controller nothing happened, I had still 7 psi even with the controller closed. After check all the system and talk with mechanics, I found that the problem was an electronic valve that runs the boost from the turbo, whit that valve working its impossible increase the boost. The solution was very easy, just a bypass in the electronic valve, don’t forget leave the valve plugged if you don’t want a “check engine” in your dash. Now I have 11 psi of boost and my car almost flight! This boost controller it’s the best manual controller in the market without discussion.

I installed this on my Z31, and it's pretty sweet! At first I thought it was broken since I was turned it a few times and there wasn't a change in boost pressure. Turns out the light spring is not very sensitive, so it took 4.5 turns to start seeing an increase in boost pressure. When the boost was finally incrase, it holds steady very well. I would definitely recommend it!

Hallman is the best mbc you can get in the market, get that ceramic ball and heavy duty spring in and you will forget all ebcs.looks good as well.worth the money

Replaced an industrial gas regulator with this unit, way more accurate and responsive, even mounted under dash with four foot vacuum hoses

This product plus an outstanding tuner = outstanding results in my 2006 Evo IX! No problems so far, does what it is supposed to do. The vacuum hose it comes with could be a bit longer though
