Worked like a charm
I have a smart TV in my backyard Cabana and it doesn't get good wifi. I was tired of having an ethernet cable draped across my side yard. So I decided to try this. Worked perfect, synced it to my home internet and plugged it into an outside outlet and now my backyard has full wifi coverage!

You get what you pay for
Had to return. It never seemed to work right and it knocked my 5G WiFi signal off to where it wasn’t even being picked up. Best to spend the money on a better quality one like Google Nest.

The heat generated!!!???
Signal has been faster!! But the RangeXTD itself gets so extremely hot. I plug it into the USB port on my MacBookAir which I love and certainly do not want to harm. But should the RangeXTD get so extremely hot or is it broken or what? Please tell me. Thanks.

Changing my original review
I originally was returning this. Then we tried one more time, after the original 7. It works as long as you are in the same room the device you are using is with the extender. Since I am in the same room most of the time as the unit, it is good. But my husband in a different room it doesn’t help with his Ipad or TV.

Lightweight And Versatile
This range extender is light, and does its job well. Once you set it up, it can be powered by a regular USB battery, which basically means one can place it anywhere without running a wire. Perfect for those time when you get need a bit more range in the backyard.

J'ai pris ce récepteur wifi pour mon PC du boulot. Il fallait que je me connecte sur un relais 4G et je n'avais pas de wifi sur mon PC. Cette clé s'installe simplement et est dessuite fonctionnelle. La vitesse est correcte. Je recommande!!
