I Love these seats. They look so awesome. The upholstery seems to be good quality and the padding is very plush. However the findings of others about the plastic base has merit. When leaning back against the backrest, there is a lot of flexing in the plastic bottom base which I suppose would eventually crack especially if a large person applied their whole weight against it. These seats are so perfect for my little boat that I decided to help them by adding a 3/4 inch piece of plywood to the bottom of the base to take the pressure off the flexible plastic. Will everybody want to do this to a brand new seat? No. But if you do, you'll have the cutest seats at a really good price.....P.S. Need to get longer screws to allow for the plywood.

Bought these seats for a small 12’ John boat I’m using for bass fishing on local lakes and river. I have a bad back and sitting on the water for long durations is very uncomfortable. These high quality and very back supporting seats are perfect. I had to do a little engineering to install with the swivel bases I also bought. I am extremely happy with the seats and for the price they are the best I found

For the price, these seats are total garbage. I am 185 pounds, and I used this seat for about 8 hours a day over 5 days of fishing. As you can see from the photos, the foam collapsed and crushed down to now when you sit on the seat it feels like you're sitting on a board; yes the foam springs back a bit, but when you sit on it, it totally compresses/collapses to next to nothing, providing near zero comfort. Previously, i bought another brand $20 cheaper and they did the same thing so i spent $50 on this seat with the same lousy result. Avoid this piece of junk at all costs.

It looked amazing when I first got it out of the box and I was really excited to get it set up and installed. I ordered a swivel with it so I could use it to operate the boat and swing around to fish. Since using it for a few months now the foam in the seat is already starting to flatten, I highly doubt the seat is made of very high quality foam. If it is closed cell foam which is more robust it will last longer. I doubt I’ll get a year out of it. Still looks good, time will tell.

I don't like to leave a bad review but I will be honest about a product. If you're buying this chair for a child to sit in then you're in the right place. Unfortunately, it's not made for an adult. Once you're in the sun for a few moments, the chair almost seems to melt & you start to lean whichever way the chair is going. The padding in the seat itself was comfortable but you just spend too much time trying to stay upright or finally just leaning forward to be comfortable for long. It's definitely not for an all day fishing trip or anyone over 30 lbs. Don't buy this for an adult to sit in.

If your a big guy I would recommend I would suggest getting their high back chairsI bought 3 of these it’s a great quality material, sturdy and does the job my husband loved them

Surprisingly very comfortable. Impressed with the comfort and quality, for such a good price. They’re small, but more comfortable than some of the captain’s chairs that come stock in nicer boats. We put these chairs in a boat we got as a fixer-upper project. They have good height when sitting in them properly, but sometimes you want a little more height to see out when you’re towing skiers/tubers. We just fold these chairs over and sit on them that way, when we need to see up and over more. Don’t have to sit on uncomfortable life jackets any more. Really happy with these!
