Its so cute!
I love this so much! I got this for my boyfriend and he loves this so much! We use this almost everyday and its great! For most of the stuff you have to pay for a subscription even tho you paid like 100$ for the lovebox itself 😒 the box works pretty well! And you basically have a point system where you can buy other things for sale with your points which is pretty cool, the set up was kinda confusing but i think its worth the money!

Not functional enough
I’ve been wanting this item for over a year and finally pulled the trigger for a Valentine’s Day gift for my mother. I was disappointed. Yes the box itself is cute, but the messaging platform is just not good enough. And the spinning heart does not inspire confidence about its longterm health. Also the constant pitch for “ in app “ purchases for what I would consider basic messaging functionality … I decided not to give it as a gift. Great idea, but it is a return for me.

Review changed from 1 star to 5. Lovebox is fantastic
There was a misunderstanding regarding a feature of the Lovebox. Certain frame templates allow you to insert your own photo and add text. Initially, I tried with product support to resolve a feature . Ultimately it was agreed only certain frame templates with an existing photo , would allow you to insert your own and add text if so desired . 1st attached screen shot , you can only add text. The 2nd screen shot , are the templates that already had a photo in the frame. The 3rd attached screen shot is the template that you can insert your own photo and add text It is a wonderful way to send love notes to my wife. Often 2 or 3 in a day. Great Product. You will love it

Not sure how I feel about this...
Okay, let's get the positives out of the way first. I got this for my wife and she absolutely loves it. Sure, you can send cute or positive thoughts through text messages to your loved ones for free, but I feel for women little things like these matters. She keeps it at our business where she's at 6 days a week, so I make sure I send her a little note every day at random times to hopefully make work a lil more fun. Item comes well packaged, and the box itself appears to be very well made (not something just put together quickly). Didn't have any issues at all setting up too, so that was nice. Now some of the things that I don't like. First, I see they have another version of this box for $20-40 more, but I cannot for the life of me figure out the difference except the other one says "color", and on the listing it doesn't mention a subscription. The one I got was the "Black and White" version, but says a subscription is required IF I wanted to send stuff in color. Mine came with a "trial" to the premium features of being able to send in color and other predesigned templates as well. I liked it so went ahead and paid $50 for the annual plan. Whether the "color" version of the Love Box has it included or not I don't know, wished their listing and website was more clear about that. Now the things that I don't like about it. 1). As I mentioned, I paid for the annual subscription. Yet, sometimes the app will tell me I don't have a premium account, and will not let me send color notes/messages. And other times it would work, so I know it's not my settings and/or email account I used for the service because on that phone of mine I only have 1 email associated with it. So it's frustrating sometimes when that happens because you're either limited to just black and white messages, or you'll have to close the app and restart several times or once I even had to restart my phone. 2). The app itself is very poorly developed for a product that's been out as long as it has been. The "recommended premium themes" are always showing the same recommendations, and none are suitable for the occasion (for instance, right now it's recommending Halloween and Thanksgiving themed messages). You can click on each category, but you'll have to scroll through the same themes to find one you want to use (there is no search or filter). Using the editor is also glitchy. Most of the time I don't even change the font size because several times when I do try to, the pinching gesture would glitch and close out the design element entirely. Also how you send it is not always how it's delivered/received on the screen of the Love Box, so don't spend too much time making it look exactly the way you want it to because sometimes it just doesn't matter as it'll do its own thing. Lastly, in the app if you need help and click on the feature in the app to type in what you need help on, it's almost impossible to do so because the text you type is invisible. I was able to just email them my problems through their contact page but it's been 3 days and I haven't heard anything back. So that sums up my review... it's not a bad product, but the app and overall user experience for the sender is glitchy and not intuitive. Hopefully they'll get things right eventually, add more features to the app (such as searching), and even improve the app's performance as right now it's not smooth at all (I'm running it on a fully updated S22 Ultra).

Frustrating to set up, but worth it
My husband has been away for work for 6 months and it is not always easy to align our schedules to talk. The lovebox has been a fun way for me to remind him I love him and to send him pictures of what we are doing back home and notes throughout the day when I think of him. in return, he spins the heart on the box which texts me notifications with a 'waterfall of hearts' to let me know he is thinking of me. It's so cute and we both love it. However, it was a pain to set up initially and I almost sent it back. It would not pick up the internet and let me move on to the next phase of set up. It took me two days to figure out how to go in on my phone and devise a workaround. Glad I didn't send it back, but if I wasn't in IT, I probably would have returned it. Lovebox helpdesk was less than helpful.
