Can't beat the price.
I bought this kit to remake the brake lines in my classic car. I had never done any line making before, but after watching a few videos on YouTube, I felt confident. I had no trouble using this kit to bend and flare new brake lines. I was concerned about the quality due to the price, but every piece performed just fine. Case is good quality, too.

Not durable
Not difficult to use but not at all durable. Broke during first use. I tried clamping the tube clamp using my shop vice but gave up after a couple of tries. Almost impossible to get a good flare.I sent it back

Works good.
Works good for flaring brake lines. Good enough quality if you only need it here or there. Got the job done flaring the lines after replacing all of them on my s10. Not a bad price

Horrible quality
This flare kit made about 3 good double flares before it started consistently producing flares that were offset. Wasted a few feet of line before I gave up and bought a HF kit that worked much better. The pipe cutter did maybe 5 or 6 cuts before the blade chipped. The only piece that really worked well was the deburr tool.

Flare tool broke on first use
Bought over a year ago and never used it until now. Flaring tool stripped out on the first couple of turns.

Easy to use - Works as advertised
Bought a hard tube kit for my 99 F150 and the first tube I tried to use had the wrong size fitting on one end besides being too big to fit in place. I decided to do the hard tube myself and bought this flaring kit. Worked as advertised and at a very good price. As a consumer that's all you can ask for.

Did the job
Probably not a pro-tool, but works fine. No defects, or malfunctions. I'm happy and i have new brake lines.

get what you pay for
This is an inexpensive solution when you have a small project and don't to spend lots of money on the tooling. I found the tube cutter doesn't work that great, hence the 4 stars, but the flaring tool works great and the bender is a helpful tool to have as well. Make sure to do practice bends first!

ABSOLUTE JUNK DO NOT BUY!!!
DO NOT BUY I REPEAT DO NOT BUY this kit is absolute junk!!! The dies will never line up because they are made cheap and do not fit right, the press tool comes bent out of the box therefore you will never be able to drive the die down straight, the line holder will not sit flush as it is cheaply made so you will NEVER get a flare that will seal and you will ALWAYS have leaks. Save your money and invest in a solid steal kit with quality parts!!
