Innovative product that provides consistent chain tension each and every time
They should provide better examples of the chain tension setting. Ducati asks you to measure the gap between the center link of the chain and the swingarm surface. Does this correlate to the measurements provided on the back of the product card? To answer this question, I went to my bike which had the chain tensioned in accordance with the factory service manual, and proceeded to crank down on the Chain Monkey. I found that it came close, I had to really crank down on the Chain Monkey to match the setting. So I feel the Chain Monkey may get me there, but more consistently each time. The crank knob kept coming apart, the end cap kept popping out.Overall: 5/5 stars

will not give you perfect setting only a close to setting (which is not bad)
Easy to use but a few different ideas on how it should be used when watching a you tube video item states use side stand all the you tube says center stand or bike with the back wheel off the ground. gives a close to setting not a perfect setting as in my bike has a 40mm slack but the setting is 2 and ranges from 35-45 so in the right range, but a few more lines and i could have zeroed it on the device.

Super helpful tool
This simple tool supplies an easy way to check chain tension and it also is a big help when adjusting the chain. It is easy to use, and once you set it up so that it accurately tensions the chain, it is a no brainer to use. I wish I had thought of it.

Good concept, bad execution
I really wanted the Chain Monkey to work. The concept seems sound, however the implementation is not. On my chain and on the first try, the tool's domed nut was getting ground down by the chain, and I found metal shavings from the nut on the chain. I could feel the nut grinding away, so I backed it off before I even achieved minimum tension.Upon removal, I found a deep circular scar on the nut. Would this mean it would require regular recalibration to account for the lost material? Possibly. In any case, I'm not thrilled about the idea of leaving metal shavings on my chain and wearing down the tool with every use.It really needs a redesign to allow the nut to swivel on the screw so that the nut isn't rotating against the chain.

Definitely need to watch some YouTube videos to know what your doing and play with it but once you get the hang of it. Pretty simple

Easy way to adjust your motocycles chain.
Used it so adjust the chain on my 2019 Honda Grom, make sure to take the plastic cover off the top of the adjusting nut. Measured the chain after and it was right in spec. This is simple to use and will put your chain with in specifications the easiest of all chain adjusting tools.

Watch a video on how to use it!
This is neat, but it's not intuitive for just picking it up and running with it. You need to watch a quick instructional video, probably twice. After that, it all makes sense. I clean my chain and then I pop this on, tightening and straightening it before lubrication. Very easy to use once you've got it down. Makes maintaining my Triumph's demandingly tight chain nice and quick.

Makes chain adjusting quick & easy.
Works pretty much as advertised. Adjusting a motorcycle's chain slack can be a pain. I basically have to lay on the ground to see what I'm doing. All motorcycles are different. Most people don't have a lift. The first time takes a little trial and error until you get this tool dialed in. Once you do, just leave it set. If you have more than one bike mark it with a paint stick in two spots. Next time I clean and oil the chain I'll stick this thing on the chain and crank it down to the rubber washer and if their's too much slack just loosen the axle nut and remove all the slack. Another tool for this job is Motion Pro's Chain Alignment Tool. If you have an older bike with miles on her clock things tend to get a little more loosey goosey. I'm throwing this tool in my AWOL Bag. Nuf said.
