Techna clip perfect for Bodyguard 380
Mine is mounted on the right side. My usual carry position is nside the belt up front inside my jeans or hanging on and inside my jeans under the belt up front. It lets me carry under my jeans so everything is kinda disguised by my belt buckle, but the Bodyguard is so thin even my relatives who know I’m carrying can’t see it. It also lets me hang my Bodyguard in my right front jeans pocket good to go, or either back pocket. This setup even lets me carry in the left front breast pocket of a regular button down shirt. It doesn’t interfere with carrying in a holster. It doesn’t increase the width of the Bodyguard.Daily year round carrying like this under all conditions since 2015, including east coast humid summers, and no corrosion on Techna clip or Bodyguard. Life can be moist and sticky in the east in the summer.

Clip and go
A couple of screws with some Loctite and your are in business. Now I can clip this on to my shorts and go on about my chores around the homestead. It is comfortable and it is easy to forget that I am wearing it. I wish I had gotten this years ago.Always be mindful to keep your finger off the trigger while clipping it inside your pants and when drawing it so you don't shoot your dingus off. That would not be fun.

Perfect addition to my j-frame S&W 442-1
Amazing fitment. Very strong doing steel. Comes with 2 screws that are Allen key head with a Allen key so I could really torque it on. Fits and is exactly what I wanted compared to the clip draw brand which I’ve used before but with two screws on this one versus one on the clip draw it was a no brainer

USER DISCRETION ADVISED.
I used this for a week or two. I never could get over the sensation of a barrel touching my junk with an exposed trigger. This is an easy enough draw, but concealing again is a chore. It's very uncomfortable to sit with because you have nothing to keep the metal from pressing into you. I switched to a Barsony tuckable holster for my 442 and will not be putting this back on my gun. The convenience is unbeatable, but it's probably the least safe way to carry a gun with a"holster" system. With all that being said my buddy has had a technaclip on his 642 for over two years and he carries daily. He has no concerns and will never switch to a conventional holster. It's well put together idea and device, I just wasn't comfortable when using it. I wanted 100% assurance that the trigger won't get pulled under any circumstance, and the Technaclip can't promise that.

Does not work with s&w bodyguard 38
Great product other than the fact that it doesn't work for the s&w bodyguard 38 revolver.

... Body Guard and the gun is extremely concealable and easy to draw out if needed
Put it on my older model era 1970's Body Guard and the gun is extremely concealable and easy to draw out if needed. You forget even you even have it on you. One problem for my older J Frame is the the front side plate screw that holds the cylinder crane is bigger then the original. It holds firmly in place with just the side plate screw near the grip.

Will not fit pre-1998 J frames.
Great item I used for a few Jframes. However if you have a pre-1998 Model 37/ early model Airweight ctg Chief Special. The screws will not fit.

Read the fine print in the details
Sent it back, the forward screw is a different size on my S&W than the one provided. Discovered that these clips are made for model 36 made after 1990. Read the fine print in the details. Apparently i did not.
