DAFA Safeguard Sof Grip Rotary Cutter-45mm, Multi-Colour

Really sharp- you can literally just tap the blade to the fabric and it cuts effortlessly, which is great when cutting large quantities of fabric as with patchworking. I'm only removing one star for the fact that the safety cover isn't what I'd term instinctual to use- you always have to stop and really consciously close it, often taking two hands because the handle design isn't at all ergonomic being totally straight and very thick, and you do need that safety cover to be closed at ALL TIMES because this blade is beyond razor sharp; I gently bumped it into the side of my non-dominant hand's index finger while cutting patchworking squares and the cut was instantaneous and very deep. The benefit to the excellent sharpness of course being that I didn't feel a thing until I looked down, and the cut healed quickly and cleanly because it was such a clean cut hahaha. So keep your safety guard on, even if it IS fiddly to use!

I probably haven't used this is much as some people who would be buying it would so I can't comment on how well it lasts - I had intentions for a project that I never got around to starting so I have just used it here and there but I must say it is very sharp which is great, good smooth motion when rolling and good handle to grip. The only downside is that while there is a safety cover that goes up over the edge of the blade, it just about goes over it and I suspect that at some point I will end up cutting myself on it thinking it's covered and it wont be.

Great cutter, very sharp and nice that there is a blade guard when not in use.

This is an excellent rotary cutter extremely sharp and expertly cuts through several layers of material. Highly recommended.
