Jaccard12 Pigtail Food Flipper, One Size, Wood/Stainless

Have purchased a couple pigtail grilling tools and this one has a narrower hook than others I’ve tried. Love it!

I liked that you could pick up all kinds of food with it, that would normally difficult to pick up with a fork while cooking.

Great for flipping with no fear of dropping your food. More secure than tongs. Highly recommend.

This "Pig Tail" tool makes it very easy to turn meat (thats all I've used it for right now) without messing up the grain of the meat. Highly recommend.

I like the long reach for grilling and not poking a large hole in meat and losing juices. Wish I had known about this sooner. Saw one on a cooking show.

Things difficult to flip over while cooking become easy with this tool.I can finally turn over the onion rings without any damage. Also, tool makes it easy to transfer cooked food from the pan to a serving plate. After using this, you will wonder how you ever got along without it.

I love the Pig tail Food Flipper. It makes cooking particularly the turning of items much easier. It takes a bit of practice to turn the pig tail just right to 'hook' and 'unhook' what you are cooking but easily mastered in just one or two uses. This beats the traditional fork or tongs for turning things especially those that are breaded, the tongs tend on removing some of the breading. It comes with a little red plastic shield for the tail part which isn't particularly sharp but is a nice added addition for storage. I have a feeling within a month I will no longer know where this little red shield is, you can only imagine how small it is.I have given this product just 4 stars only because what I was sent wasn't exactly what I ordered. I ordered a wooden handle pig tail which appeared to be smaller than the plastic. It has a much heftier grip than I had wanted and when measuring it was certainly longer then the 12 inches as advertised. I believe mine measure 13.5 inches. Not a big deal I suppose but I did take my time picking out exactly what I wanted and had rejected the ones that looked like what I received. So I am happy with the usefulness of the pig tail but not happy with it's unwanted design. Yes I kept it and will use it but will always be thinking of what I had wanted.November 27, 2016 - UpdateI still love my 'Pig Tail' and after using it for a year I have totally forgotten what the issues were that I gave this only 4 stars, that is how much I am enjoy using my Pig Tail Food Flipper. I am using it for many more things than I thought I would; barbecuing, great for turning bacon, breakfast sausage, donuts when frying - the list goes on. So worth giving it a try and don't hesitate to take it to the patio for some grilling uses.

I bought a much bigger one, but I felt like it was too big for kitchen use (but perfect for grilling or larger pieces of meat like roast), but I use this one constantly. I love this for bacon or chicken or pork chops or anything you would use tongs or a meat fork to turn. Probably my favorite kitchen tool.
