List the dimensions of the glass, not the overall item. I thought the viewing area would be larger. But otherwise it is a very nice glass.

Decent quality magnifier , glass lens , but 3X magnification is not enough for our needs . This would be OK for a reading your Bible , a book or newspaper. Difficult to read smaller print , prescription bottle , OTC meds and the like . I ordered what looks to be the same magnifying glass with 5X magnification and it is fine , the minimum needed. Ordered from Amazon , just received as a matter of fact .

I like it but when it is described as jumbo, it is no different than any other magnifying glass. I would like something just like this but at least 5 inches wide. The viewing area is about 3 3/4" wide. It has good magnification and if held about 6 to 8 inches away from your face it offers distortion free magnification (parallax is very low) and you don't feel like you're crosseyed. The lens is indeed glass and has a nice feel to it. It's perfect if you have shaky hands like me. It's still a good buy.

Nice Magnifying glass. I bought this magnifying glass so I could see the GPS in my car while driving. I don't wear my closeup lenses in the car. Hard to see the small print. This will do the trick. Perfect size.
