The unit is easy to use and and display is easy to read the measured value. I did not rate the accuracy, because I don't have any other instrument to compare it to.

Headline: Get Accurate Readings Anywhere with the Portable TDS Pen: A Guy's Review
As a guy who's into home brewing and aquariums, I know how important it is to have accurate readings of total dissolved solids (TDS) in water. That's why I picked up the Portable TDS Pen, and I have to say, I'm really impressed with it.One of the things I love about this pen is how fast and accurate it is. You simply turn it on, dip it into the water about an inch deep, and the large digital display gives you an accurate TDS reading. This is great for anyone who wants to know exactly when to change their water filters or for anyone who wants to test the water quality of their drinking water, swimming pools, aquariums, and hydroponics. The automatic calibration feature is also a huge plus. There's no need for any adjustment screwdrivers, and the pen calibrates in just 3-5 seconds. Plus, the compact and portable design of the pen makes it easy to carry in your pocket or bag, which is great for someone like me who's always on the go.Another thing I appreciate about the Portable TDS Pen is the quality warranty. With a warranty of more than six months, I know that I can rely on this pen for accurate readings for a long time to come. And if I ever have any issues with the pen, I can always count on the enthusiastic customer service team to help me out.Overall, I highly recommend the Portable TDS Pen for anyone who wants a fast, accurate, and portable solution for measuring total dissolved solids in water. It's a great investment for anyone who's into home brewing, aquariums, hydroponics, or anyone who wants to make sure their water is safe and clean.

Works as good as Zero Water tester but...
Bought this as replacement to Zero Water tester. Works exactly as original BUT, it will NOT fit in the cap slot near the spout (if your using the 32c dispenser).

good, reliable instrument
This is not my first TDS meter. I purify the water for my house plants with a reverse osmosis/deionizer filter, and I use a TDS meter to monitor the output. Several times I have purchased mixed media resin for my DI filter that was supposed to be color changing, only to find that, although it did clean the water, it did not change color. As a result, the only way to tell when to replace the media is to monitor the output continuously. Purified water is not good for plants because it contains no nutrition. It is necessary to add a certain amount of fertilizer, or your plants will not grow. As it happens, I have several carnivorous plants in my collection which resent any solution stronger than rainwater. In order to control the mineral content in the water I use for these fussy plants, I decided to get a spare TDS meter for my plant room. Since this meter was low in price, I ordered it. I have been using it for over a month and find it dependable and useful. By the way, the other, older meter, that I have been using for about seven years, was made by Etekcity. I have seen no real difference between the two and would equally recommend both.

Bummed
I guess I should have looked into TDS Meters before buying. A TDS meter only test the mineral content in our drinking water NOT CONTAMINANTS 🤦♀️ I should have known this would be to easy. Just waisted $11…

It’s TRASH
The worst part is that I couldn’t return it cuz the store is always closed so I had to throw it away. I went 5 times for many days and I spend more money on gas then on the idem that’s completely worth less.

Very helpful!
I use this when my town is working on the water lines or flushing hydrants to check for bacteria levels. I find it very useful and easy to use. I just fill a clean cup with tap water and dip the reader into it. It gives an instant reading and let's me know if the water is safe to drink.

Doesn't last long.
Bought Sept 2023 and it dimmed out a month ago and then quit. Tried to change batteries and still won't work so put in another set, no luck. It is dead. Going back to the original. Not three months use.

Works perfectly
I already own a TDS tester (by another brand) and this was bought as a back-up device. For obvious reasons, I always advise owning two testers, and this one, so far, seems to work flawlessly.
