Great book! Thanks!
I'm reading it again for the second time. Excellent read. Young men need to connect to an older leader and Jason is an excellent role model. I also got the audio and while I'm on the bus I'll put my headphones on and listen to him read it while I follow and highlight the parts I feel I need to remind myself of.More women need to know what goes on in a man's mind. It opened my heart to the difficulties and weight of responsibility men feel on a daily basis.Thank you for helping me to see, I need to listen and empathize more.

Jason Does It Again
After reading Cry Like a Man years ago, I bought this book. I forgot all about it until last month when my pre-ordered book, The Man The Moment Demands, came in. I opened my Kindle and saw i hadn't read this one yet..lol.But it truly was not meant for me to read it until now. Battle Cry is exactly what I needed at this junction of my life. My mind has been bombarded from all angles. This book has brought me out of a dark, dark place!!!This book has been somewhat like therapy sessions for me. One chapter after another, leading me to peace within that I needed!

Great Book
I’m so glad that The Breakfast Club interviewed this brother. That’s how I came across him. He has been such an inspiration to my life. My son and I haven’t talked in almost a year because he has been upset with me about how strict I was with raising him. This book helped me to see myself and where my son was coming from. We have mended our relationship. Great book for anyone to read…man or women.

I enjoyed it except the religion part
It’s a very good book. The only thing I don’t like is when the author talks about religion and relationship with God and bout a story in the Bible. He doesn’t talk that much bout religion in his interviews tho. I ordered his book before reading other reviews that he can be bringing that topic up. The most I enjoyed is Jason relating to his real life situations and childhood. It is worth the read and no doubt sends a powerful message. The book is easy to read, it’s less than 200 pages, BUT…his philosophy is no doubt that should not be ignored. I love how he opens up about his wife, his past mistakes, who he use to be, how he is as a father, and talks about sexual self control for men, and teaching boys from early age and keeping a family in communities. He points out a lot. The book does get better. Don’t miss out on it.

Excellent
Great read. Went through this with a group of men and we were all challenged and changed by the messages inside. Absolutely recommend.
