Did what was needed, (and all on one charge) which was to trim approx. 30 meters of 6 foot beech hedge. The only detriment to this was the difficulty in pressing and continuing to hold in/down 3 switches in order for it to power up. I found this process to be temperamental and frustrating at times. Otherwise...all good.

The quick charging battery and easy fitting to unit and lightweight.

I purchased this hedge trimmer based on its highly positive reviews and reasonable price, but unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. It might just be bad luck with the particular model I received, but it doesn’t cut cleanly – instead, it tears the stems, which is far from the advertised precision cutting I was expecting (see attached pictures).Another major issue is the battery. It has to remain on the switched on charger; otherwise, in standby mode it discharges quickly. Additionally, some common complaints from other reviews are true: the safety design is awkward and requires more effort than necessary (why not just stick with two buttons?), and the battery’s charging indicator does not show the true status of the charge (when fully charged it shows red).Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this model based on my experience and I will try returning it.

My wife has used this satisfactorily, so it suits me!, I is not too long, not too heavy and it is easy to see when charging is necessary, not that I have used it that much yet due to the wet weather..

This is a compact hedge cutter and cuts really well. I do find it quite difficult to hold in the 3 safety switches at the same time though...I understand the safety aspect of having 3 switches but it would be easier to handle if there was only 1 switch.

At first inspection upon arrival, I was pleased with the size of the trimmer / quality of the blades. It feels good quality and is built well. Battery charges quickly and lasts around an hour before it goes sluggish. I found the 3 button safety switches a bit tricky to use when reaching, but used rubber bands / tape to hold 2 down while using the 1 switch to operate. I have only used it twice so far but am pleased with the purchase and would recommend if you are looking for a good quality trimmer. 2 year warranty included.
