Be sure before you use this to do a burn in on the section of stove pipe. Otherwise it will smoke and smell for about 10 minutes inside your tent. Also if you use it be sure to use gloves, the fiberglass fibers come out all over and really irritate your skin if they get on it. Other than those things it is a good additional pipe heat barrier for your stove pipes or for tent stoves.

Product is not suitable as a chimney pipe wrap, created a large amount of chemical based smoke in my tent and left tons of fiberglass looking bits everywhere, had to rip it off the chimney in the middle of the night so I didn't suffocate. Terrible product.
