We live in a very old house that gets mice sometimes in the Fall. We used to use D-Con bait traps, but apparently that is no longer for sale. So, I got these. Sadly for the mice, they work quite well. I was fairly concerned about putting out poison with 2 dogs in the house. With these, there is no way for my sneaky and ravenous pooches to get inside. I used Farnam Just One Bite II https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002SAQ7ZM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, which, sadly for the mice, works quite well.

easy to open easy to fill, the lock is a great thing that way u make sure kids stay out of them not that u would put them where they could get to them but u know how kids are. since setting these under the house our issue has seemed to go away. they are on the small side but it makes it easy to place them.

Excellent for occasional mice that get into your house. I liked that it had locking mechanism on it. Hopefully this will help mitigate that issue without harming my dogs.

I ordered a total of 10 traps. It ranges from annoying to very difficult to get key to open the bait traps, Some stations arent too bad, meaning it takes 10-15 sec to open. Others take a lot of fiddling, like several minutes, to finally get the key to open the trap. I appreciate having a lockable trap but this one does not function well.

Not good for outdoors. The raccoons had a ball picking them up and tossing them about. I liked that they were small and lightweight, but didn't realize the raccoons would like that too. They were not in position long enough for the mice to get a good chance at the bait.

Junk---- broken parts inside of every box---Very cheap !

Tabs inside were broken, but this could slow down the dog from eating a poison block. Better than a cardboard box I guess.

These are for very tiny mice, I think the field mice that I have are too big for these little traps.
