My Vitamix blender sounds like a 757 jet on take off so I was noodling around to find ways to mitigate that. A silicone trivet was recommended for sound absorption and I order this set to try it out. It is just a little bit better and this is an ongoing project (I'm building a sound box) so I'm not saying everyone should do this. Still, it reduced the noise that comes from surface vibration so every little bit counts.It is also easy to clean up when I overload by blender and it all comes frothing down and that's an added bonus!

I bought these mats to place on a granite countertop in order to avoid scratches, or burns from food pots and dishes. The counter is outside, so it makes a big difference to have something to protect it. These mats come in different sizes and shapes, so it makes it ideal for different dishes. The texture is also a heavy leather-like material. Once you place it - it stays in place. It also looks very nice.

For years I have had a plastic cover that you can place over a bowl or plate in the microwave to help with the splatter. I saw this advertised, and really thought I would like it better, as it has a much smaller footprint when stored inside the microwave. But, really, most things I reheat are not completely contained inside a bowl or dish, and this just isn't practical to put over something sitting on a plate (let's say a piece of lasagna). But, the product is as described, so it's hard to take off too many stars. It does work fine when placing over a bowl or other dish, so long as the food is completely under the side wall of the bowl. In that case, it works great.

Exactly as you'd think. They do the job and I haven't burned myself yet, and I also use them as grips to open jars. My only gripe is the shape traps crumbs really easily, so they need to be cleaned often.

Love the feel of it. The honeycomb design feels good to the touch. It is very flexible. You can use it for various things. I do recommend it.

I have an Instant Pot pressure cooker with vents on the bottom and since you're not supposed to put that on a stove top I needed to use my wooden table (it does have a table cloth). I bought these to put side by side under the Instant Pot and it works perfectly. They're also very easy to clean.

I use the round ones for drink coasters in the family room and the square ones in the kitchen. They are a perfect size for getting hot pans out of the oven, protecting my granite countertop, and protecting my wooden side tables. Silicone is easy to clean and is durable. Fast shipping to my rural home is appreciated.

Okay, I ordered these on a whim to take camping. I wasn't sure how I would use them but they came in really handy for griping things. I had a two piece fishing rod that I couldn't pull apart to pack, and I finally thought of these silicone multipurpose mats. It worked like a charm to grip and pull that rod apart. This was not listed as one of the many uses for them, but they are great for griping, twisting & turning things. They really should get 6 stars for versatility.

Thought they would be thicker, but ok if you stack them.
