I love this tripod! I am an artist and have just begun to film my process of creation, this tripod allows me to film from a great angle, without shakiness or clutter on the desk. One tip I learned: if you are filming a flat-lay work space that may shake a bit, I recommend attaching the tripod to a different table/surface nearby.

Poor quality and will not hold the phone in place will slowly tilt down. The base support keeps getting loose as well

This overhead articulating arm is a serious disappointment in its construction, components, and design.The base clamp is very narrow in comparison with other models and while it WILL clamp, it can't be used on some tables with curved or sloping sides. It really needs a 90deg edge to be securely attached.The arm itself is secured in the base with a round tightening knob made of cheap plastic.Spring strength is minimal and while the arm pivot points can be tightened, the whole system feels very cheap and flimsy.The phone connector is especially cheaply made plastid from a mold and attaches to a ball head and tightened by a round encompassing plastic knob. This requires some heavy tightening to hold the attachment in place when a phone in being used.I found no real positive elements of this arm, and for me, it is a very low THREE STAR rating, and that is generous. I might be able to use it in an emergency, but wouldn't trust it or get any real functional use out of it otherwise. This mount does not stay upright when a phone is put in it. it slowly creeps down and falls over.

This is a very simple device, quite sturdy and easy to set up. Seller was quick and reliable

Delivery was fast. Need more written info to put it together but used the video that was on the site to figure it out. Works well so far, have to be gentle when adjusting and able to accomplish what I needed it for.

Can barely handle the weight of a phone, it all collapses

Thou it is really designed to hold a cellphone, I took a chance and bought it to hold my Security Camera by the window. It does a great job locking into place where I need it to be. The construction is very durable compare to other cellphone holders. I would suggest you consider this flexible arm mount; especially for multiply purposes.
