NOT Spiral Bound
It’s listed as a spiral-bound book but it is NOT spiral bound. Annoying! Hopefully, the contents don’t disappoint. I bought this as a companion to the Blue Zones Kitchen by the same author.

Blue Zones in your home!
The Blue Zones challenge is a great starting point for anyone that wants to make lifelong lifestyle changes to increase their health and well-being. This is a quick read with lessons that are very applicable to life. Highly recommend this book!

Amazing companion to the cookbook
If you are into a healthy, longevity-focused diet, this journal is a great companion to the Blue Zone cookbook. It's engaging, has some self-assessment tests, and helps stay on track. I gave it to a friend as a holiday gift and planning on ordering one for myself.

Just okay…lacks depth
I enjoy the stories about the different blue zone people and their lives but trying to turn those studies and stories into an actual equation for longer life is a stretch. I do love the connections made to your health about community and building better relationships but all the rest has been said before and in much more helpful depth. The book promises to be founded on strong empirical evidence but that is not the case when talking diet. If you’re looking for ways to improve your diet and improve your health there are far better books and people to study from like Tim Ferriss or Peter Atia- they’ll give you a very granular picture of the why not just some “because a 100 year old did it”. I did find a few good recipes so there is that, and I very much appreciate the go ahead to drink wine but again this is not new. I would suggest this to someone very new to self-help books, who’s looking for a different slant on the healthy lifestyle (I.e. not all diet related).

Love.
I have enjoyed reading this book and doing the challenge. Lots of good information and easy to read. The book tells you what to do for the challenge then gives you pages to document your progress. Nice purchase.

Excellent book.
I highly recommend this book. There are so many easy things a person can do to live a healthy life in their later years. We get so busy in life, we can forget the important tips recommended in this book. Well worth the investment.

This is the easiest plan I have come across whilst still allowing so many food choicesGreat for older women too as it’s gradual with no skin wrinkling .
