Make sure you are very happy with where you want the hole to be. Take time over that & you won't regret a thing. This does not hurt unless you hold back & complete the pinch through very very slowly & cautiously. But even then it's not unbearable. You won't jump or flinch or call out for rescue. Seriously. I was so scared & uptight the first time that I kept pausing the process & expecting any discomfort to crank right up any second. It didn't. I felt like such a big baby afterward. Made me laugh at myself though & the stud did look so good. But I had to do it a second time because the hole placement was way too far back the first time. Doh! BUT, second time I just snapped that little devil right through without a murmur. Perfect.At the time of this review the picture shows a piercing 'gun' with a butterfly back for the stud to fix into. The photo is incorrect. You only get the butterfly back with the ear piercing gun. The one for noses is a plain surgical steel 'spike'. It's pretty long, so I immediately took it out & used a proper nose stud with a curled end. Now that bit WAS uncomfortable. But again, still quite bearable.Go for it!

I've already got a ring in my nose I got this to add another ring to the same side, I couldn't get enough pressure on the gun had to get my sister to help, its painful I'd say a 6/10, my advice is do it fast hurts less, the stud small but nice I will keep the stud in till it heals then change to a ring

Really hurt I pushed it all the way and it didn’t even go though all the way and was so difficult to get out. Would not recommend never using one of them again.

Much quicker and easier than having to faf going to a piercing shop. I’ve had plenty of piercings etc so I’ve taken not of what’s done. By no means am I a pro but I’m happy with it.
