Review: Very happy with the quality - I thought maybe I would have wanted 6" pads but these were just fine. They held up really well after using compound and polisher. They washed up very easily and seem like they could be good for several more uses. Really happy with these pads and when the times comes that I would need more I would buy this brand again.
Review: Muy buenos - Al principio creí que no iban a gustarme, pues cuando los recibí dudé que me fueran a servir. Tardé en usarlos y al final descubrí que se aplica con facilidad la cera en la carrocería. Inclusive cuando se trata de retirar algún residuo contaminante de la carrocería (asfalto o resina de los árboles) se quita con mucha facilidad. Aquí me permito recomendar una cera líquida como la Marvil. Es excelente para retirar estos residuos con los aplicadores Mothers. La cera se retira fácilmente con tela de microfibra. Para el lavado de los aplicadores, basta usar detergente común y enjuagar varias veces: quedan como nuevos y son muy durables. Los recomiendo.

**Q: Anyone try using these to apply poly coatings on a wood working project?  If they work it would be a cheaper option than those purpose made.**
A: Yes, the applicator pads can be used to apply poly coatings.  Please note that you should not use the pads for anything else after applying poly.

**Q: Does this cloth pad need to washed after every use?**
A: I have these and have been using them for several years to polish & wax car. I always wash after use. I never store unwashed - even if it's paired and keep one for each of the "car care products." This risks contamination with dust or other debris while the pad is stored, possibly causing swirls and scratches in car's paint. Moreover, the products will likely dry out on the pad to some extent, which pretty much renders the pad unusable. You don't want to be rubbing dried wax or polish onto car's surface.
I typically use dish detergent - Yes I know, never use dish detergent to wash a car, it strips the wax. But you DO want to remove wax, or whatever, from the pad. I usually use lukewarm water, it will not shrink the pad or covering - microfiber is synthetic and does not shrink. Make certain to completely rinse pad after washing.

**Q: For those that apply compound by hand, is a microfiber pad like this the best option?**
A: You can but if you have black car I suggest a softer foam pad. I used ultimate compound on very clean black car and created swirls. Removed with orbital buffer and foam pad. If your car is light and you are careful you probably won't Marr finish

**Q: Can I apply polyurethane to a table top with this product?**
A: Yes it can be used for this purpose, but please note that it will not be reusable; it will need to be trashed afterwards.

These Mothers 156501 Yellow Microfiber Ultra-Soft Applicator Pad pads work really well. My husband used them to help apply the last layer of wax and polish to our cars after he went through and detailed the outside (working through the clear coat to buff out scratches and everything). These proved pretty nice to use for the waxing. He was able to rub it on nicely and spread it around evenly. These did not scratch anything or hurt any of the hard work he had just done buffing everything out. I must say that my car almost looks like new ( minus the few rock dings that were too far into the coat and into the paint to actually buff out nicely). All in all, these are a great purchase. They were easy to use and did the job nicely as being a great applicator and wipe for the cars. I am pretty sure my hubby bought a couple and these, and I"m sure we will definitely be back down the road to buy some more of these to use.
