multitasking serial console
I purchased a dozen of these for work. Our new laptops are USB-C only, so we needed something new. Because we typically provision racks that have at least 3 switches in them, these multi-port cables are a real time saver. Switches can be updated and configured in parallel rather than 1 at a time. The cable has a good length and we add 10ft CAT6 to each leg so it can easily reach from either side of the rack. It is easy to use. The ports are automatically detected in TerTerm, PuTTY, or whatever else you use.

Great if you need more than one RS-232 connection
This shows up as 4 individual serial ports when plugged into a single USB slot. I use it for a live-streaming control system where I have several serial-controlled switchers that I need to access.
