Very thin. Merges with the desk and stays in place. Easy to cut to desired shape and size without causing cosmetic damage. XL is too big, soi resorted to downsizing it. As for performance, I tested the housemate with PTFE feet, and did not encounter excessive speed/momentum. My mouse is calibrated though.

Had high hopes, and they were met...for 2 weeks, the mousepad stayed in place just fine, but after using this pad for a month it started wearing away at my mouse glides, and i started to wear away at the pad its self, which made every mouse drag sticky and slow. A great mousepad for you...if tour willing to pay $20 every 2 weeks

Short: I stuck this mousemat on top of my original large mat. There is zero friction from the Glorious mat, but your mouse movements do make more noise than a cloth mat. Longer: I've always had cloth mats, and enjoyed them. I did not know there was another way. Now I know about the other way, I cannot go back. I bought this mousemat and also bought a lighweight wireless mouse with no RBG. I now live a frictionless life, slipping all over the place.
