A Humidifier That Does It All!!
I am a novice hobbyist, raising orchids. I do not have a greenhouse;so, Iconverted my bedroom which has only two small windows. Many products on the internet ( humidifiers, grow lights..) I have tried with mixed success. However, there is one productLacidoll humidifer that is such a welcomed addition that I feel compelled to "spread the word"This humidifer has many unique features. My friends are always concerned with having a constanthumidity throughout their garden. This is not a problem. The power cord is about 12 inches, and the humidifier is on wheels. It can easily be moved to a central spot. It has attachments where the mist is dispersed in 4directions. as well as a pipe extension. All aspects of my garden are reached by the humidifer. Thehumidity level can be raised to 60 % in 15 minutes on the lowest setting. and maintained at this level for over20 hours. But there is a BIGGER bonus . If I raise the mist level to high, my entire orchid area (6 feet by 10 feet) is covered by a blanket of mist. ( At a lowest setting,, a steady level of humidity is maintained.)This is the first humidifier that is powerful enough to intermittently "water" my orchids and gentle enough to provide a constant level of desired humidity. Before I needed 3 humidifiers for my garden. Now I only needone. ( It covers 1200 square feet). With the pipe extension, It also spews a stream about 4 feet in the air, .I believe that misting is essential to the growth of orchids ,especially my oncidiums. This mist is made of very fine droplets that the pores of the leaves are able to absorb . I constantly am evaluating the psuedobulbs of my oncidiums. I find that if they receive one -to-two misting in addition to their regular watering, they growsavagely. There is a heat wave in Virginia ,and the orchids can easily become dehydrated.. Constantattention to the humidity level is paramount.( When they are misted, the humidity is increased by a few percent so I would suggest a fan. Iwant the leaves to be dry so fungal /bacterial infection is minimized. Orchid growers arein a dilemma. The orchids flourish with high humidity , but so do its pests. But the attachments give you a myriad of options. You can control the direction and theintensity of the misting by omitting the split or by changing its length.( There are two differentlengths you can insert .)You can use the pipe extension or insert the slits to have a 2,3, or 4 directional approach. If the slit is removed, the stream is more forceful. Also you can shorten or lengthen the slit.In summary, you can determine the directions as well as the strength of the water stream.I raise a variety of orchids, but I have a fondness for oncidiums. A high humidity level isrecommended; however, this predisposes to fungal infections. I prophylactically spray with afungicide. Using the Lacidoll humidifier to maintain a constant level of humidity with occasionalmisting is the best balance for growth with minimal risk of fungal infectionIf you are a serious hobbyist, this is an ideal humidifier!! The price is very reasonable when you consider that this humidifier takes the place of 3 humidifiers ( which I formerly had).THIE LACIDOLL IS A 5+ STAR HUMIDIFIER!!!PICTURE 1 SHOWS THE PENETRATING MIST=HUMIDIFER IS ON THE HIGHEST LEVELPICTURE 2 SHOWS THE HUMIDIFIER ON THE LOWEST SETTING

Great humidifier for large space, print room, or greenhouse.
I have purchased two of these units from Lacidoll. I use these to increase the humidity when printing apparel, and for our greenhouse. The unit has a large capacity and even on it's highest setting can operate more than 24 hours with one tank. The first unit we used a tap water and had issues with mineralization but cleaning it with white vinegar made clean up super simple. However, after a couple years use the humidity sensor stopped working and so I moved this to our greenhouse and purchased the second unit for our print room. The second unit we have been using distilled water and that has been working for the last two years without issue. The multiple nozzle options make it ideal for directing the water vapor where you need it, and it can provide an immediate impact for a large room or greenhouse. It works much better and doesn't require the use of the special filters/sponges such as some evaporative humidifiers that cake up in short order.

Absolute waste of time, money, and a huger stressor.
First off, this product is just made horribly. The built in “hygrometer” is absolutely awful. It consistently reads improperly and in the evening will be 10% higher than the actual room and just flat out turn off. I had to order a replacement on this, which they sent very quickly but the replacement did the same exact thing.During the day it couldn’t keep my 250 square-foot room at above 65% relative humidity, and then in the evening it would read that the room was 80% when it was actually only 55%. I should’ve just returned it when this one started doing the same thing and got a refund. But instead I decided to continue to check on this humidifier every 45 minutes in the evening (which drove me insane). Today I come home and the humidifier is just not working at all. I do the recommended cleaning, I even tried to clean the water pump with a very diluted vinegar/water solution. Nothing works, the LED screen lights up then it makes three beeps and turns off. Unfortunately now I’m outside of Amazons return policy and if you try to contact the company that makes this humidifier the number isn’t even real and I’m sure the emails will follow suit. So now Amazon is making me pay $45 to send this back even though it’s broken, again. If you were a serious plant collector go online and YouTube how to make your own humidifier because everything that Amazon sells in humidifier department is absolute garbage and their customer service is just as bad. I used reverse osmosis water, I follow the instructions to a T, and I even kept up with maintenance and cleaning like the manual said to. This item is just cheaply made junk That’s marketed to be good for big rooms or plant collectors. Please do yourself a favor and skip buying this one.
