Easy to use hands free
Great and handy, wish i bought this before an electric pump.

Amazing!
This is a great easy hands free pump. I mainly use it when feeding my baby on the other side to catch let down. I usually get 2-3oz in 15 minutes. Ideal as a lot of this would be wasted from leaking anyway. The suction is strong but comfortable, easy to adjust if feels a bit too strong. I feed baby in rugby ball hold as this is the best way he latches and it also means he isn't in the way of the haakaa as it collects on the other side. I have also hand expressed in to the pump which it works well for also. I'd recommend getting the one with the lid and suction base as it is much more convenient and reduces risk of spillages. Overall love this pump as it catches milk with no work and means I have extra breast milk to use as and when needed!

better than electric
worked better for me at extracting milk than medela hospital grade rental. i use it at night when boob is more full before breastfeeding - consistently getting 2oz from one side in 5-10 mins and so much less faff with tubes and bras and flanges! just have to be careful not to knock it off.

Simple, effective, and a lifesaver for milk collection
have been using the Haakaa manual breast pump for a few months now, and it has been incredibly useful. It’s very easy to use — no cords, batteries, or complicated setup — which makes it perfect for quick milk collection. it saved my life most especially the weeks after I gave birth. I mainly use it on one side while feeding on the other, and it collects a surprising amount of milk with minimal effort. The suction is gentle , relaxing but effective, and I found it much more comfortable than some electric pumps I’ve tried. I also love how quiet and portable it is. It’s easy to clean and sterilise, and the silicone feels high quality and safe. This has been especially helpful for building a small freezer stash without the stress of pumping sessions. The only downside is that it can be knocked off easily if you’re not careful, so I’d recommend using it when seated and calm. Overall, this is a fantastic product and great value for money. I’d definitely recommend it to breastfeeding mums, especially in the early months.

Brilliant!
I use this as a collection device, rather than a pump as I found that I was leaking too much for collection shells and the milk was spilling out. Collections shells comfortably held 1-1.5oz but from having the Hakka on one side whilst baby fed on the other, I got 2oz! So in one day of use, I’ve actually built up a small supply in the freezer, something I haven’t been able to do with collection shells of the Medela pump (these have worked but only enough for the top up feeds I’ve needed to do, there has never been enough left to store for future). My only problem is that baby can easily kick it off, it might be better if it was on a slight angle to the side so baby can lie without touching it. Otherwise, it’s perfect and so easy to use!

Pump
Just a waste of money. The bottle wouldn't just stick on my breast

I love the concept but didn’t work for me
Product is nice quality and I was so excited to use it but to my surprise it didn’t work for me as I don’t have any leakage so just be aware. Everywhere I seen they take for granted that you can collect the let down etc but sadly not my case.

Lid and stand are so worthwhile
This is the second manual breast pump I own in this style and I just have to say the lid and flared base on this one are absolutely worth the extra money. Just like my other one, it's easy to use and clean, comfortably soft silicone, I collect a reasonable amount of extra milk just from let-down while my baby is feeding on the other breast, or if I do manual expression. Where this one is superior is when you need to take it off the breast and set it to the side. The suction cup base means it will stand without wobbling or falling and the lid means there's no risk of spills even if you do knock it over (which I have done more than once with my other one!). If I were buying again, I'd definitely get this one!

I love my Haakaa. I breastfeed my little one for 19 mo and am hoping to have the same success with my next due in July. When breastfeeding I would just suction it to the opposite breast to catch my let down. Was also great on days when engorged and needing relief. Please be aware it says pump but is not a pump nor can you really pump it without it loosing suction. It is more of a catcher that aids in the release of milk with the suction.

I am obsessed with the Haakaa. I use it every time I breastfeed on the opposite breast my baby is not feeding from. I forgot it on a trip and bought another brand and it DID NOT compare to the Haakaa brand. Highly recommend to build your milk supply. I’m not sure what I’ll do when the baby is much larger and can knock it off

I had not noticed the big size, a bit too big for my liking, hard to use will breastfeeding on the other breast (baby knocks it off), but other than that functions well to save leaking milk and take off some of the milk and pressure when breasts are too full. I don’t/can’t however use it as replacement for a pump.

My wife and I stumbled upon this breast pump, and it's an absolute game-changer! Why this wasn't on our radar sooner is beyond us. Let me break it down: Pros: - The comfort level is off the charts, surpassing the electric pump she previously used. - Remarkably, it matches the milk expression of an electric pump without any setup hassle – and it's hands-free! I even witnessed my wife wearing it while preparing a meal; the convenience is unparalleled. - Lightning-fast delivery, arriving the same day we ordered. Initially skeptical, my wife quickly realized it surpassed the hype. - Ideal for quiet moments during our baby's nap; it operates silently, ensuring no disturbance. Using it on one breast while feeding on the other resulted in it being halfway filled within minutes, outpacing the speed and comfort of the electronic pump. - Opting for the 150ml version with the top proved to be a wise choice. Storing in the fridge and cleaning at work became a breeze compared to the closed cups of the electric pump. - An absolute essential for breastfeeding moms – my wife has three! If one ever goes missing, we know what we're replacing immediately. It has significantly reduced pumping and hand-pumping time, establishing itself as a must-have. - Regretting not having this with our first child three years ago. Particularly beneficial for sensitive nipples, sparing my wife the pain often caused by electronic pumps. Both comfort and price-wise, these pumps are unbeatable. In conclusion, this breast pump is a resounding success – comfortable, convenient, and an absolute necessity for any breastfeeding mom. We're thoroughly impressed! Cons: None.
