This is a great deal for a complete suit for a slender boy. My son is very slim, and getting clothes that are long enough in the arms and legs usually means that they are baggy all through the torso. However, this suit fit him perfectly. He looks very sharp in it.I would definitely *not* purchase this particular suit for a husky boy, and maybe not even for a boy with an average build - this is a truly slim fit!Also, I measured my son carefully and ordered according to his measurements, though he was on the upper end of the measurement range for the size I ordered. The suit fit like a glove, almost too much so. There was no room for growth at all. So I recommend ordering a size larger if you want any room for growth, or if your child's measurements are at the upper half of a size range.Sewing quality was good on my son's suit; I didn't see any flaws in either workmanship or materials. The suit arrived looking new, with no stains or other problems that some reviews mentioned.The shirt is not wrinkle resistant (it's not advertised to be) so plan on pressing it. If your son is likely to take off the jacket and vest, he should wear an undershirt, since the shirt is very thin, making it somewhat sheer.The rest of the suit is also a very lightweight material. That was a plus for me here because it's hot most of the year. But this suit is not going to keep your son warm in winter if you live in a cold climate.Quality-wise, it's a good deal for the money, but keep your expectations realistic: your child will look sharp at church, the wedding, the funeral, the school dance, or whatever occasion(s) he needs to dress up for, but no one is going to mistake it for a four-figure designer suit.

My 13 year old son wore this for his sister’s Sweet 16. You can see how handsome he felt wearing this suit. I had to press the wrinkles with an iron but it was well worth the price!! The suit comes with a very thin white shirt, you must wear a white undershirt, the vest, jacket, the pants and a tie. I was disappointed the tie was NOT the gold color and that is why I took one star away. If they sent the right tie, I would have given them 5 stars. The theme to my daughter’s Sweet 16 was black and gold and instead of adding the gold tie, they sent a blCk one. So he did not wear the tie. I liked that the pants were long! My son is very thin and very tall. He is about 5’8” and they were long enough.

This suit is perfect for my 10 year old son. He is right on the edge between size 10 and 12, having pretty short legs. The legs of the size 10 are almost too long, so I'm glad I didn't go for the size 12. Overall the suit looks great. It is fairly thin, which is perfect for the warmer weather as well as it makes it less constricting. That means no complaining from my son. The tie is really cool. It' not a clip on tie, but rather you pull the back piece of the tie and it tightens the shaped collar piece or you let it go and the collar piece loosens. I am very happy with this great value!Note: I got the toddler version of this suit in the traditional fit and his is perfect as well. The only difference is the toddler suite is thicker in the jacket.

He's a handsome little devil; 9 years old in a 3-piece suit plus tie. Sunglasses and secret agent earpiece radio/mic completed his Halloween costume get-up, which won first prize for his age group. And then he wore it to church the next Sunday with a more expressive tie. Loved the suit. Needed to iron/steam the wrinkles out upon arrival, but the fit of the vest, coat, and pants were spot on (my son is pretty slender). The price was very reasonable for a decent quality suit. Thanks!Update: My son had worn this suit nearly weekly to church for over a year now. It has remained in very good shape and held up to his active habits and occasional cleaning (in fact, most everything he has spilled on it has easily wiped off with a damp cloth). It's too bad he has almost grown out of it, but that can't be helped. The suit will certainly last for another child to use without signs of wear. Just the shirt is a little thin.

After reading that the item runs a little small, I ordered a size 18 for my 14yr old son, who is about 5’5” and 120lbs. It fits perfectly. I wanted to avoid spending a lot, as he won’t likely wear it many times before he grows it of it, so finding it at this price was fantastic. It does need a little pressing, but I think it was in remarkable shape out of the package. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a quick suit for a child.

My daughter, yes you read that correctly, decided for her 8th grade formal she wanted to break the normalcy. She had seen this style labeled "Dandy Queen" in a fashion magazine and fell in love. Thus we purchased a suit. It came as described, the shipping was efficient. The suit is light which is nice for the southern heat. It fit just right and the measurement guide was spot on. The pants were a little baggy in the legs for her liking, but I think it worked out well for the look she wanted. The only small disappointment was that there isn't an actual breast pocket. It's a faux pocket. We had to find a creative way to give her a handkerchief the illusion of sitting neatly inside.

The cut on this suit was perfect. My son looked like a little angel at his first communion. But that is the only thing that was nice about this suit. The pants were practically sheer. I felt so bad but we had to just go with it since his first communion was coming up fast. (It was postponed from May due to COVID).I would not recommend this suit, unless you are 100% strapped for time.

My son is in Demolay and needs a suit. He's growing fast, so it needs to look decent but not be expensive. I gave this a try figuring I could return it if needed. It turns out it is an amazing deal for $40. However, there was stitching problems with the lining in the jacket. The white shirt is thin and see-through. We probably won't use that. However, the jacket, vest and pants meet our needs.After a little mending this turned out to be acceptable for a growing teen.
