Strengthening Your Grip: How to be Grounded in a Chaotic World

Chuck Swindoll is one of the most interesting and thought provoking pastors I have ever listened to or read. This is a back up to the paper back copy I bought a few years ago and it still stands up as a GREAT reference for biblical application to everyday problems and challenges.

While not as humorous as some of Swindoll's writing, very thought-provoking & easy-to-read material.

Great read and works well in a group study forum.

I expect Pr. Swindoll's writing to be inspired, grounded and relevant. He does not disappoint but exceeds expectations.

This is a OK book. It seemed like just a bunch of his thoughts wrote out. He said in the book, he got the ideas and thoughts to write this book while on vacation. So, it does seem like a lot of thoughts broken up in to sub-chapters within the chapter. It was almost confusing how the chapters were set-up, and the writing within. It was kind of a hard read. It did not flow real easy. I recommend books by David Jerimiah and/ or Jack Graham for more easy reading.
